"Men have forgotten this truth," said the fox. "But you must not forget it. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed."
from The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery
We had a blast last weekend at Paws in the Park! We washed over 60 dogs and raised a lot of dough for our friends at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue. We love taking part in events like this because this is why we get out of bed in the mornings: to provide care for the dogs who make our lives so much richer. We believe all dogs need regular care and maintenance. We believe in Peggy Adams and all the other hard-working animal rescue organizations out there, who spend countless hours trying to make sure every pet has a loving "forever home." After all, we're all responsible for these animals we call pets. That's why we're passionate about supporting all those humans who seek to make life better for animals. We urge you to find ways to support an animal rescue near you, by volunteering or donating or helping spread the word. Educated, empowered pet owners mean fewer homeless animals. Happy, healthy pets mean happy, contented humans. It's a beautiful thing.
