Family event celebrates the 21st Anniversary of Friends of Jupiter Beach, a community organization that supports and maintains healthy, clean and dog-friendly beaches in Jupiter, FL. Scenthound is an event sponsor and will be running a Charity Dogwash to raise money for the organization.

A team of “Scent Techs” from Scenthound Plus Jupiter will offer essential care services (baths, ear cleaning, nail trims, and teeth brushing) for dogs at the event, in an effort to raise money for Friends of Jupiter Beach. One hundred percent of proceeds will be donated to the organization. 

Barks & Beaches (http://friendsofjupiterbeach.org/barks-beaches/) celebrates the 21st Anniversary of Friends of Jupiter Beach. The family event features all things dogs and beaches: food, music, vendors, dog washes, pet adoptions, demonstrations, contests, children’s activities and a Doggie Fun Zone. Barks & Beaches will help raise money for Friends of Jupiter Beach, 501(c)(3) community organization whose goal is to support and maintain environmentally healthy, clean, and dog friendly beaches in Jupiter, Florida, through volunteerism and education. Although FJB has been recognized with achievement awards from both the Town of Jupiter and Palm Beach County, it receives no government funding of any kind, and is supported solely through fundraisers and donations from an appreciative public.

Scenthound, an emerging leader in the dog-care industry, joins partner Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League for largest one-day pet adoption event in Palm Beach County. Countdown 2 Zero will be held Sept. 12, 2015, at Palm Beach County Convention Center.

Countdown 2 Zero is a collaborative effort between local animal rescues in an effort to save lives. Initiated by Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, the Board of County Commissioners and Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, the event brings animal welfare organizations together to reduce the number of animals needing temporary shelter, thus ending the euthanasia of adoptable animals in Palm Beach County.
